Seattle

Updated: Jun 17, 2021

This past weekend, a great friend of mine and I took a trip up to Seattle Washington for a few days. Why? Well, I have never been up there before and personally, I have found that to be surprising on my end, but it has been done!

I've had a car for 3 years and have not found the time to at-least drive up there and see the city...until now. Likewise, I am so glad I finally did because it is only the beginning of more destinations to knock off my traveling bucket list. Big thank you to Cole Cereghino (friend from my childhood) for tagging along with me for my first time, it could not have been better timing.

Seattle was definitely different, but at the same time I can see how it shares a lot of similarities with Portland, my hometown. Furthermore, I truly enjoyed how BIG it was. The whole time wandering the streets of this city I felt very small. Moreover, it is a beautiful city with a lot of nice parks, landscapes and tour spots.

While wandering around the city, I noticed how it was mostly on a hill and how the buildings were structured, I became a big fan.

Throughout this trip, we made sure to hit up all the "tourists" spots including the : Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Waterfront, Gum Wall, Gas Works Park, UW, and Downtown.

Now, exploring a new city is always a blast for those looking to get out and explore, especially if it has never been done. By all means, go for it!

Overall to capitalize on everything, this experience was a no brainer and I look forward to returning sometime soon, possibly even in July.

Also, Cole, if you are reading this, thank you for making this first time experience for me special. In addition to that, hopefully next time the Space Needle will not have a long ass line and maybe, just maybe they will drop their prices in the future.

If you are looking for a fun city to travel too, I without a doubt recommend Seattle.

Thank you for tuning in!
